VerifyJob will not select copy jobs

Description
Preliminaries:
The easiest way to select backup jobs for verification is the VerifyJob directive. It will select the latest backup job with the name specified by Verifyjob.
Copy jobs create copies of backups jobs and the copy job receives the same name as the original backup job.
If someone wants to use VerifyJob to select a copy job (i.a. a copy of a backup job) for verification, then they must use the name of the original backup job.
Problem:
The verify job will always select the latest backup job for verification, not the actually younger copy of the backup job. It seems that a verify job actually can only select backup jobs and not copy jobs (I haven't checked this fir migration jobs).
I haven't found any limitation being documented regarding the type of jobs that may be selected for verification using the VerifyJob directive. To me it does make sense to not only verify backup jobs, but also to verify copy jobs (using level "Data"). The undocumented limitation to backup jobs seems to be bug to me.
