# Description
A Device with `Device Type = Cloud` can no longer be initialised. The SD tries to load `bacula-sd-dedup-driver-17.0.0.so` instead of `bacula-sd-cloud-driver-17.0.0.so`. The Director then reports `3924 Device ... not in SD Device resources`, and all jobs using the cloud device fail.
Relevant log line:
05-Oct 23:08 bacula-sd JobId 38002: Fatal error: init_dev.c:541 \[SF0018\] dlopen of SD driver=dedup at /opt/bacula/plugins/bacula-sd-dedup-driver-17.0.0.so failed: ERR=/opt/bacula/plugins/bacula-sd-dedup-driver-17.0.0.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
This is caused by the following:
In 17.0.0-26080611\~bookworm, init_dev.c maps device type 14 (Cloud) to driver name dedup; debug output shows Num drivers=14 / type=14 ... name=dedup. Device Type = Cloud therefore fails with SF0018. Workaround: symlink bacula-sd-dedup-driver-17.0.0.so to bacula-sd-cloud-driver-17.0.0.so.
# Steps to Reproduce
1. Install bacula 17.0.0
2. Create a test directory, and a plugin directory containing only the cloud drivers:
```bash
mkdir -p /tmp/bacula-repro/{working,cache,plugins}
ln -s /opt/bacula/plugins/bacula-sd-cloud-driver-17.0.0.so /tmp/bacula-repro/plugins/
ln -s /opt/bacula/plugins/bacula-sd-cloud-s3-driver-17.0.0.so /tmp/bacula-repro/plugins/
```
3. Put the following contents in /tmp/bacula-repro/bacula-sd.conf:
```
Storage {
Name = repro-sd
Working Directory = /tmp/bacula-repro/working
Pid Directory = /tmp/bacula-repro/working
Plugin Directory = /tmp/bacula-repro/plugins
}
Director {
Name = repro-dir
Password = "dummy"
}
Messages {
Name = Standard
director = repro-dir = all
}
Cloud {
Name = ReproCloud
Driver = "S3"
HostName = "s3.example.com"
BucketName = "dummy-bucket"
AccessKey = "dummy"
SecretKey = "dummy"
Protocol = HTTPS
UriStyle = VirtualHost
TruncateCache = AfterUpload
Upload = EachPart
Region = "us-east-1"
}
Device {
Name = ReproCloudDev
Device Type = Cloud
Cloud = ReproCloud
Archive Device = /tmp/bacula-repro/cache
Maximum Part Size = 100 MB
Media Type = CloudType
LabelMedia = yes
Random Access = Yes
AutomaticMount = yes
RemovableMedia = no
AlwaysOpen = no
}
```
4. Try and initialize with bls:
```bash
/opt/bacula/bin/bls -d 100 -c /tmp/bacula-repro/bacula-sd.conf -j -V TestVol ReproCloudDev 2>&1 | grep -E "init_dev|SF0018"
```
